It's a wrap for OZMaD

It's with some regret that I'm announcing that OZMAD is closing up shop. There are a number of factors for this decision - mainly it's a time and resources issue for me personally. Moket has grown to take up a lot more of my time these days, and allocating energy to OZMaD has unfortunately suffered. Also, good Flash mobile related content from the local scene is hard to source (and I can't keep talking about what Moket is doing!), and the good content from other groups (such as Boston) are readily available online for members to view at any time.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time to OZMaD over the 2 years we have been running, and who have come along to a meeting. Thanks to those who presented, and thanks to Ed @ Adobe who manages and resources the user group program so well.

And for anyone who isn't already, please join one of the many global MaD user groups - particularly those that host online presentations that you can join in from anywhere. I'll be sure to see you in those myself. There's also rumours of Mobile Monday Brisbane starting, so if you're a local looking for mobile networking opportunities (and I'm sure we'll throw some Flash Lite in there where possible), then keep an ear out for this starting up. I'll make a post to the group when that happens.
